Robert J. Greenbaum brings nearly four decades of distinguished legal experience and over two decades of public service leadership to KingBarnes Law Firm.

Rob’s career reflects a rare combination of legal expertise and civic leadership. He served the residents of Mount Olive Township, NJ, for more than 22 years as Mayor, Councilman, and Planning Board Member, including over a decade as Mayor. His tenure was marked by a deep commitment to responsible governance, strategic development, and community engagement—experience that uniquely informs his approach to advising clients navigating complex legal and regulatory environments.

In his legal practice, Rob has built a reputation for versatility and results across a wide range of disciplines. His experience spans both litigation and transactional matters, including Title 59 defense, residential and commercial real estate, construction litigation, land use, personal injury, employment law, civil rights and CEPA claims, commercial litigation, insurance defense, criminal, municipal court defense, and general business transactions. This breadth allows him to provide clients with practical, well-rounded counsel grounded in real-world experience.

Rob has significant trial experience and has practiced in courts throughout New Jersey, including the Appellate Division, as well as in federal courts, including the District Court of New Jersey, the District Court of Pennsylvania, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. His ability to navigate both state and federal matters adds further strength to the firm’s litigation capabilities.

A graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Rob has spent his career combining large firm experience with the entrepreneurial perspective of running his own successful practice for over 20 years. He recently relocated to Cape May County, where he continues to serve clients throughout the state of New Jersey, with the same dedication, insight, and personal commitment that have defined his career.
