Melissa Poblete is an attorney with KingBarnes, where she focuses her practice on estate and trust matters, specifically estate administration. She is currently licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, and will soon be licensed in New Jersey as well.”

Melissa graduated cum laude from Temple University Beasley School of Law. During law school, she served as a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure, Trusts & Estates, and Professional Responsibility. She also participated in Temple Law’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic throughout law school, where she gained experience assisting clients with a variety of federal tax matters. Melissa further developed her legal experience through internships with Temple University Health System and the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office.

Following law school, Melissa served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Daniel Kurkowski, J.S.C., in the Family Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. During her clerkship, she gained experience researching and analyzing complex legal issues and working closely with the Court on a broad range of family law matters.

A South Jersey native, Melissa was raised in Somers Point and is excited to continue building her legal career in the community she calls home. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys taking her two corgis to the beach.
